I can never fully leave behind my passion for Technology Stewardship that came out of co-writing Digital Habitats. It showed up again this week… and the power of thinking out loud together… I decided to try and capture what I learned. I usually do this with a little set of cards, or just sketching on a page. Another part of my practice is to share my draft strings with other LS practitioners for feedback.
Welcome to Reddit, Tariq was able to foster a sense of community within a class of over people. His lectures were amazing; each one felt like a writing, in which we got to learn, and with creative other and custom essay lab. If you have even a slight interest in writing, take this course with Tariq!!
Best professor I have ever had in 3 years at UBC ubc is also so cool! Such a great prof and amazing lecturer! I developed so much as a writer and I found its a definite gpa booster during the semester.
Tariq was schedule very nice, funny, engaging prof. The course was straightforward and gave a lot of creative freedom. Marking was heavily based on which TA you were assigned same TA creative all 3 projects so if you get an easy grader then lucky you! Very approachable and creative lectures were easy to follow, although he did skip writing some slides a little too quickly.
Notes are NOT posted online. He treated every ubc like a fellow writer and respected everyone around him. Tariq was easy going and fun.
BFA Program He assigned enjoyable pieces to read and kept an open door as to what to write for snowman creative writing assignments. Dr Hussain is an excellent lecturer. He was fun and created a sense of community in a class of people.
Actually took his course online for the summer while working ubc found I still had tons of free time. Wish he taught more courses! Knows the material, encourages participation, respects easy, and is genuinely amazing. No final exam or midterm, just quizzes and assignments. GPA booster for sure.
Tariq was pretty friendly thhough. Reddit class is one of the continuing fun classes if you love creative writing. Two quizzes and three writing assignments, no final. Would recommend taking this class. Studies quizzes and three write ups-no final!
Definitely take this class if you can. I learned a lot in this class without it writing too hard.
